Lead / Senior SaaS Applications Engineer, Cloud Services

Location: Mountain View, CA

Job description:

A profitable start-up with a customer base of over 3,000 organizations, including 40% of the Fortune 50 Companies, is looking for an energetic self-starter with a desire to learn new things quickly who understands how to implement scalable, high-performance software.

The company is building enterprise-class software solutions from Identity and Access Management to applications and services based in the cloud. Its systems securely extend IT control of account provisioning, de-provisioning and activity reporting to applications and services based in the cloud.

Responsibilities:

Deploy and operate large scale cloud infrastructure and application services
Work closely with operations to maintain cloud services SLA
Proactively define and expose metrics that can improve our services' performance, scalability, and availability
Define and evangelize best-practices for cloud platform programming & usage
Contribute to architectural and product design
Develop unit test cases and perform comprehensive unit testing
Handle routine system administration issues related to your systems and test systems

Qualifications:

2+ years experience in the architecture, design, implementation and management of a cloud infrastructure
5+ Years hands-on software development experience, with the most recent experience preferably in cloud/SaaS/PaaS/IaaS environment
Extensive (3-5 years) experience with C#, .Net 3.5/4.0
In-depth working knowledge of commercial cloud computing platforms (e.g. Azure Services Platform, Amazon Web Services, Rackspace Cloud) and integration with SaaS applications such as Salesforce, Google Apps, WebEx, NetSuite, Office365, SuccessFactors etc.
Demonstrated ability to complete highly detailed tasks with strict attention to detail, quality and timeliness.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
BS in CS or equivalent, MS is preferred

Pluses:

Experience with authentication standards such as SPNEGO, SAML, and OAUTH
Knowledge of Kerberos, authentication, PKI
Experience with Active Directory and/or LDAP
ASP.NET MVC experience
Javascript experience
